While no wildlife sighting can ever be guaranteed, the chances are excellent. Our experienced guides and trackers work together to locate wildlife, and every game drive offers the opportunity to encounter a wide variety of animals, including lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and many other fascinating species.
Comfort is key. Neutral-coloured clothing (such as khaki, olive, beige, or brown) is recommended to blend into the environment. Layering is ideal, as mornings can be cool while afternoons warm up. Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are also essential.
Yes. Your safety is always our top priority. All game drives are led by highly trained guides and trackers who understand animal behaviour and follow strict safety protocols. Guests will receive a safety briefing before activities and are asked to follow their guide’s instructions at all times.
Every season offers something unique. The dry winter months often provide excellent game viewing as wildlife gathers around water sources, while the green summer season brings lush landscapes, newborn animals, and exceptional birdlife. There truly isn’t a bad time to experience a safari.
A camera or binoculars are highly recommended to make the most of your wildlife encounters. Depending on the season, you may also want to bring a light jacket for early morning drives, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle to stay comfortable throughout your adventure.
