Early Morning

The bush begins to wake

Coffee, tea and rusks are served in the lodge, overlooking the riverbed. Then morning game drives head out with your guide and tracker. In cooler months, blankets and hot water bottles are provided on the vehicle, but bring a warm layer.

  • Drives are shaped by what is happening in the bush.
  • No fixed route – each outing is different.
Mid-morning stop

Pause and take it all in

After tracking what moved through the bush overnight, you will pause for a coffee stop out in the wild. A relaxed break listening to the sounds of the bush before continuing the drive.

  • Fresh coffee, tea and snacks served from the vehicle.
  • Chat through sightings and tracking with your guide.
Breakfast & Bush Walks

Slow down and look closer

Back at the lodge, breakfast is served. It is time to reflect on the morning’s sightings and settle into the day. Optional bush walks led by an experienced guide offer a slower, more immersive way to experience the wild.

  • A full breakfast enjoyed back at the lodge.
  • Time to relax or reset before the afternoon game drive.
  • Optional walks tailored to your interests and fitness level.
Afternoon at Leisure

The pace softens

The rest of the day at the lodge is yours. From a quiet afternoon by the pool to time spent at the spa, this is where the focus shifts entirely to you.

  • Lunch is served in camp at around 13:30.
  • Relax by the pool and enjoy the lodge.
  • Explore our wellness experiences.
Afternoon & Evening Drive

As the light begins to fade

Late afternoon begins with high tea before heading out with your guide and tracker on your second drive for the day. As the light fades, pause somewhere scenic to take in the sunset and listen as the bush shifts into night.

  • Drives extend into the evening for nocturnal sightings.
  • Sundowners and snacks served in the bush.
Evening & Dinner

The day draws to a close

A three-course dinner is served in the boma, lodge or bush. From shared stories around the fire to a quiet nightcap, it is a relaxed end to a full day in the bush.

  • Evenings spent around the fire or in the lounge.
  • Unwind with a drink under the stars.
